My dear Clara,
I wished to
write to ever so many
of the Seville friends
by this mail but when
ever I take up a pen
I want to write home
and nowhere else Do
give them all my
warm love be sure and
tell Mrs Beam I
often think of her.
Martha just came
over bringing little Flora
Gilman. The poor little
thing misses her sister
so and wants to find
her. She could not
eat any dinner.
It is very touching
to see her. Mr
Gilman we hope
will be back tonight.
Now we must send
the letters it seems strange
when you wrote there
were eleven in the
home and now I
suppose there are
only three. I think
you will enjoy having
a little quiet and rest
and perhaps after a
time it will seem
less lonely. We can
always look [u] forward [/u].
I am glad Henry could
preach for Mr Notestein.
