He doeth All things well
1 He doeth all things well, ah yes!
In sorrows hour 'tis sweet to feel,
That He who hath all power to bless,
Is Ever doing all things well.
2 But my poor faith is sometimes weak,
When trouble's waves around me swell,
And slow to hear the promise speak,
Of Him who doeth all things well.
3 For darkness sometimes shades the light,
E'en when I know that all is well;
Clouds sometimes veil the Sun through bright
then falling tears [--the--] my [?herdEns?] tell.
4 But soon the clouds have passed away
the bow of promise [?smiles?] on high
"Strength shall be Ever as thy day"
then Every falling tearing is dry.
5 For all is well I know 'tis so,
the God who guards the sparrows flight
Will never let us sink so low
As not to see some promise bright.
6 Too long his arm my weary head
Has [?borne?] above affliction's waves
For me to doubt the love He 's said
He gives the children who [?he saves?]
7 Glad then my heart this truth declare
Far as thy voice hath [illegible] to tell
With watchless love and tender care
He Ever doeth all things well.

E'en 当我知道一切都好;
