Richards last day.

him Have you not a message for me and he
said Now Jesus loved Mary + Martha and
then he seemed to feel that was not just what
he wanted said the names were not right but in
a moment a happy pleased expression came
into his face as though he had found just the
right words and he said "Let not your heart
be troubled." Once he said "When is Christ
coming. and once he quoted the verse to
depart and be with Christ which is far better
Henry said it seemed as though he were
going to quote the whole verse and then he
seemed to think what it was and stopped
He was so modest, so unselfish, and thoughtful
for others. When he came back he felt that
Bella was looking very poorly and he has been
so good and kind and thoughtful for her -
He said to Henry once that Dr Swan had
told him that his heart was weak and he must
be careful not to exert himself or he might drop
away and Henry said "You would go right
to heaven would you not"? and he replied
Oh yes but there is so much work to do-
After he was sick he told Henry that the
profession of medicine
