Title

Section of Unsigned Letter

Subject

Clothing; Friendly visiting; Disease

Description

The author of this letter, most likely Martha, writes that the missionaries are receiving money and clothing. Also, they recently participated in a social event with other missionaries that included music and was an overall success. This is followed by the news that a doctor has given Mrs. William a recommendation to go home due to health concerns.

possible I know not plan I

presume they will send out
by Lillie Happer perhaps though
that is only a supposition.
I am glad mine has come
in money and she is glad
hers is coming in clothing so
we are both suited. Our
social Evening was at Mr
Chalmers last night and we
did have such a nice time
Dr Carrow and Miss Rowe
composed the editorial

off so nicely. The paper

Afterwards Mrs Masters
said some one else must

or there would be nothing
to write about. The [?Kunennys?]

amount of attention. Four

Mr Hubrie Miss Taylor and
Mrs Williams gave us instru-

our dear little Mrs Williams
I fear will be obliged to return
to America - on account
of her health. The physician
tells her she has the same
difficulty Mrs [?Dillhey?] has and
must go home for treatment
he fears. We shall miss them
very much. They have never
forgotten our experiences at
Macow. Mr [?Nevin?] has been
quite sick again with vertigo

Kunennys
Hubrie
