My dear Father and Mother
It is Willie's birth day
and I will write and send
the good wishes which I know he
has for his Grandpa + Grandma at
Seville - He has several little presents
to make, him feel good among
other things a box of paints, and
some books - He is getting to be
quite a large boy and is a
very good boy and a comfort to
his parents and so is Richard.
We have been having quite
hot weather for a number of days
although it was cool the early part
of September--
We are Expecting to have the
pleasure of seeing [?Jed?] Muller here
sometime before long-- He is now
in Hong Kong giving lectures or
rather perhaps I should say holding
Evangelistic meetings. He is
intending to go to all the ports
of China I believe, or most of
them at any rate -and also
to Japan - He is an old man
to be going around the world in
this way 81 years old they say.
There has just been a death
in the Mission circle at hongkong
Mr Edge of the London Mission died
last week. He had only been out
from home a year since his
visit - I think he had been
out about ten years before that -- I
will not write more as time is limited. The letters
go to the office now Your Aff Son Henry
